Somehow, Rusty doesn't seem too excited about his new bed.
YK brings him to his new bed. He scratches the velvety cushion with his paws. Then he lays there looking very tense.
He's back, sleeping on his favourite spot under the TV shelf.
YK brings him back to the bed again, giving him an old t-shirt for warmth. Rusty tosses and turns...
Now that he's sleeping, YK leaves the room quietly.
Rusty 'wakes' up suddenly....
...and steps out of his bed.
...and prefers to sleep on the floor!
What's wrong with your new bed Rusty? You don't like it?

He was probably just hot. Once he considers it to be ...familiar, he'll be more accepting of it I bet.
Of course, he is the Rusty-pup, and he does whatever he pleases. I think he's just reminding you guys of that. :)
yes i agree... "I'll sleep in my new bed WHEN and IF I want" he's sayin...
How adorable of Rusty. I think he need time to adapt to his new bed or mebbe the floor is more cooling? :)

Good news is, Rusty is beginning to like his bed. Like you all say, he sleeps in it whenever he feels like. Sometimes he gets up in the middle of his sleep to find another spot nearby, only to return again to the bed later.
