Saigon Steet scenes

The streets of Ho Chi Minh (formely known as Saigon) city come alive at the crack of dawn and never stop spinning until late into the night... See for yourself!

Little boys out having fun in the city.

Majestic Hotel along Saigon River is probably the most posh hotel there.

There are lots of Colonial buildings in Saigon, it almost looks like a street scene in Europe.

Here's looking at you kid!

Street vendors like this are everywhere in the city. They lead such a hard life.

Taking a nap by the roadside, oblivious to the hustle and bustle around him.

He offered to take us (CH and I) around town on this bike. How can we allow a small guy ferry the both of us around!?

A vendor holding a huge bunch of balloons.

From flowers to flower crabs, you can almost find anything in the famous Ben Thanh Market.

The busy streets surrounding Ben Thanh Market.

Ben Thanh Market.
Grand Hotel.

"No pay, no delicious" - we couldn't help but walk in...

...to try the pho. We had to pay because it was DELICIOUS!

A pair of scissors and colour paper are all he needed to make these amazing 3-D cards.

A typical street vendor dressed in traditional Vietnamese attire.

Even young boys are out in the streets selling foodstuff. The Vietnamese are diligent people who make an honest living. We didn't see any beggars in the streets!

Vendor selling postcards.

We went up to the 6th floor of Rex Hotel for a drink and the much-hyped -up view. The service was bad, food was terrible and expensive. Well, the view ... see below

This is the view from the top of the Rex.

When the sun sets, another group of street vendors take over, setting up their stalls for the night market outside the Ben Thanh Market.

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended
up losing months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you
