This reminds me of another time a little girl took great interest in a dog's rear quarters: my niece who was about 4 then stood behind the family dog for a long time, rapt in her study. Then she reached out and cupped the dog by the... umm, jewels, then proudly turned to us and proclaimed:
"Potato!"
I've never seen the dog jump so high.
