Saturday brunch

This is what the boys are having for brunch - a hearty meal of 'big mama pasta'. I made the sauce using fresh red tomatoes, chilli, fresh prawns, fresh shitake mushrooms, frozen clams, lots of garlic and Marks & Spencer Chunky Basil Tomato sauce.

I haven't had pasta for a long time... 2 days ago I suddenly remembered one of your last posts about pasta, so I made it :)
Now you are making pasta too :)

You know how the boys love Pasta and I only cook it during weekends. They love your shrimp pasta though!

The NTUC at Bt Timah Plaza has been revamped to BTUC Premier. They have more gourmet stuff and even roast tandoori chicken which is very good. YK tried it last week and said Cosco chix is still the best!

I mean NTUC Premier...

Yummm!!!
Okay...I was looking forward to making our lunch tomorrow - pasta with fresh basil, garlic, tomatoes and olive oil - but after seeing what you made for your boys, my sauce seems so boring.

Hey Seagrape, my boys are so demanding now that they're all grown up...that's why! I used to feed them boiled brocoli when they were little :-)

YUM YUM...it all boils down to food doesnt it?

hmmmm... sounds a little complicated to me. looks a little "different" too. personally i woulda maybe used a white sauce..alfredo or something.
BUT... you have made a dish i have never seen, or made... so.. you should submit that somewhere!
unique? is it an original blur recipe?
would be a hit on a fancy restaurant menu.

I just boiled some broccoli to go with the pasta. LOL! It's still a fave here. I guess their little taste buds are not fully developed yet ;)
