Another rainy morning

I woke up to another rainy morning, not by the sounds of rain but the pitter patter of Rusty's little feet.

You see, when it rains, he goes into a mad frenzy. He runs from room to room, knocking on the bedroom doors to be let in. YK wakes up grouchily to open his door for him. He goes in and begs to be let out again. YK lets him out and shuts the door so the air-con will not escape and Rusty goes to knock on SK's door. SK will do the same thing for him.

He goes in and out many times, not knowing what he wants until everyone gets enough of him. Then the rain stops and everyone wakes up bleary eyed but Rusty is at peace again.

I wonder what the psychiatrists have to say about this. An abused childhood? A sad past life as a stray living in the streets? Struck by lightning in his previous life?

We used to enjoy sleeping in on cool rainy mornings but not so much these days.

poor honeycake + you all, a classic case of "one suffers, all suffer".

i think he wants company, or make sure everyone is OK in the terrible storm so he lost no loved ones.

btw, did u all leave him in the farm last time on a stormy (or rainy) day, or after a stormy (or rainy) night?

auntieLucia - Yah, he can be quite annoying but then when rain stops, all is forgiven :-)

Fry - While we were living at the farm, he slept in our bedroom with us :-)
