Calm weekend
It's one of the strange Saturdays when I feel so relaxed, where no housework or chores beckon. I've finished reading the papers, pottered around in the garden, prepared lunch for the boys and now I'm resting in the room with Rusty.
Maybe it has something to do with the pleasantly cool weather outside or simply because it is Vesak Day, sometimes informally called "Buddha's birthday," which encompasses the birth, enlightenment and passing of Gautama Buddha. Vesak day is about loving kindness, peace and harmony.
I sit here and wonder why I feel so harrassed on some days and so relaxed on others. It is simply a state of mind I am in. I need more days like this when I don't let little things bother me. It's good to feel peaceful and calm on a weekend.

Little furry friends have a calming effect too. But only some of the time.
Not when Rusty's stalking me hoping I would bring him for a walk.
