How uncanny!

For some reason, I suddenly thought about my first date with CH today. We got to know each other via a mutual friend and had lots of fun communicating via email. We finally met for coffee one afternoon. That was our first date.

I can still remember what we wore and talked about. We sat by the French window at the cafe with the late afternoon sun filtering through the curtains. I talked alot and he smiled the whole time. Conversation flowed freely and we enjoyed each other's company.

When I told CH about this today, he suggested meeting for coffee at the same cafe tomorrow for old times sake. Of course I said yes.

Then it suddenly occured to me that our first date had actually taken place in May four years ago. I checked through my diary and voila! today, the 5th of May, is the very day we first met each other! It's our 4th anniversary.

My goodness, isn't it so uncanny?
