I'm flying off to Shanghai on Monday morning. For the next few days, I will be holed up with fellow agents from USA, UK, Australia and Asia in the meeting room at our Shanghai office.
The bags are packed but I'm not quite ready to go. The boys have been wandering into the room as I pack, reluctant to see me leave. "Must you really go? The house will be so lonely without you. Will you be safe? Be careful not to catch the swine flu ok..."
I'll be back before they even know it, late Wednesday night to be exact. It's a really short trip this time for I have no intention to linger after the annual meeting.
I had a silly accident while walking along Holland Village last night. I bashed into a sign post and ended up with a bulbous lump on my forehead. It's beginning to turn slightly blue black, I fear I would look awful tomorrow. I'm afraid it's too late to change my travel plans now, I'll just have to live with it.
I prepared some food today so that the kids won't starve while I'm gone. I've left them some instructions and hope they'll take turns to walk Rusty as diligently as I would.
I won't be blogging while I'm away but do visit and leave comments, especially on the topic of "What makes you happy?"

Try pressing some towel wrapped with ice cubes over your bump, it helps to go away faster ^__^
