Man's best friend

Dogs are so well-loved in France, their owners bring them everywhere….to the market and parks, in the cars… It’s not even unusual to find restaurant-owned dogs lying under the tables, amongst diners. We had one beautiful Labrador sitting right next to us when we had dinner in a cosy little restaurant in Paris.

You can probably find more dogs than kids in Paris. I remember years ago, my kids were so amused to see the ‘dog poop’ collector using a machine that looked like a vacuum cleaner to suck up poop on the streets. It’s a good thing really for while I’m a dog lover, I really hate stepping on dog poop.
This is my favourite... an adorable little fella that belongs to a restaurant in Lourmarin.

Oh, we saw this cat in Roussillon which is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ochre quarries. The fur of this cat seems to be in a shade of ochre too.
An elegant cat sitting prettily in Paris.
This black beauty was guarding his owner's stall in Bonnieux!A nosey one in the park near Eiffel Tower.
A lovely labrador checking out the fruits in Paris.

I personally love cats... used to have a dog but when he died I sort of promised myself never to keep one again..

Hehe I adore neither cat nor dog! :)
Btw, the cat in your 3rd picture looks strangely big... if it's brown I would think it's a lion! Really :)
