Finally, we are home! It was a lovely trip. The kids had a great time! My best friend and I enjoyed every minute of the well-deserved break.
Club Med's a little different this time round. First of all, we were made to wear a plastic tag around our wrist. We felt like hospital patients! With this tag, we can go to the bar counter to get free drinks anytime of the day! I remember we had to pay for over-priced cold drinks in the past. You know how thirsty one gets in the tropical heat.
I'm glad Club Med has moved with the times. I remember my first visit more than ten years ago... the rooms were spartan. No TV, telephone, newspapers or even airconditioning in the rooms. Of course at that time, getting to Club Med meant 'getting away from it all...'. Perhaps, they couldn't afford to put in all that frills at that time. Now Club Med works like a well-oiled piece of machinery. Each beautifully landscaped resort runs efficiently and boasts of luxurious bedroom furnishings and world-class facilities.
Well, I'll let the pictures show you.....
