Cool apple

YK walked out of Mcdonalds and offered me some Apple Dippers, saying that it's his all-time favourite snack. I took a bite... hmm, but it's only fresh sliced and peeled apples dipped in caramel. I find it strange that the kids ignore the fresh apples at home yet would happily fork out almost $2 on the same thing that comes in a nice packaging.
.
Don't you think Mcdonalds is really smart to have successfully convinced kids that their pre-packed apple slices are tastier than other apples. But of course! It's the branding (and the caramel dip).
.
Oh, such a simple idea, now why didn't I think of that before? It's time to put on our thinking caps ...

It's amazing what pretty packaging and caramel dip can do for apples!

By the way, first time I ever went to McDonalds I ended up in tears because I thought I would meet Ronald McDonald, but he wasn't there.

Ha ha, in that case, there really is a business for me...to dress up as Ronald for the little kids!

Hey McD takes the mascot thing very seriously. Pardon the expression but not any clown can get to play Ronald McDonald!

SALUTE to super-creative people who can sell those things!!!

In this world, we are judged by our exterior. No matter how vehemently we deny it.

You are all packed for Saigon already?

Ha ha, I haven't packed for Saigon yet :-) I'll just throw some clothes in the luggage during the last minute. The weather's going to be similar to Singapore, so packing should be a breeze...
