Four days ago, I received an email from my sister in law telling me to look at the picture below; make a wish, then read the prayer.
Her email also says:
Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of the Little Ways, meaning she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love. She is represented by roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed. Theresa's Prayer cannot be deleted. REMEMBER to make a wish before you read the prayer . That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just share this with people and see what happens on the fourth day.
Saint Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilitie s that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
.
As this message is all about love and blessing, I made a wish, read the prayer and quickly passed it along to my good friends.
You know what? I started to see small miracles coming back to me. On the 4th day, a dear friend sent me his favourite prayers by San Francesco d' Assisi (S. Francis of Assisi). I also received an excited call from an old friend - a devout Catholic lady - telling me she had won $2,000 in the lottery.
It's a small sum but it means alot to a retired old couple who's not well-off, who lead a fairly miserable life at their son's house, having to put up with a daughter-in-law who treats them poorly. Their other children are struggling to make ends meet and are not in a position to provide any help.
With Christmas looming ahead, my friend was hoping to have some allowance for the upcoming festivities. She could only afford to place a $1 bet and pray for a miracle. When she found out that she had won the top prize, she was close to tears and called me immediately to share her joy.
It's wonderful to hear some joyful news from her. Thank God for small miracles!

Yes Mother Theresa....a saint and a mother that I am named after...what a lovely photo of two gone spiritual beings....
If my prayers mean anything - may they be for your mum to get well.
Ok I'm going to place a bet now.
I've to declare first that I'm not greedy, so I don't want a lot, maybe $2... million will do :)
In Euro, not USD.
And in cash.
And tax free!
And I want to just sit here and count my blessing.
So much so that my fat ass can't move, can't go to buy lottery, and don't stand a chance.
Bummer!
Thanks Loz. That's what I prayed for too :-)
I'm pleased to hear the joyful news too.
I could do with a small miracle, so here's praying and hoping!
AMEN to that!!! Thank GOD for miracles. Miracles abound everywhere. ;-D
lovely to read a good news story like that! :-) Small miracles are often the nicest of all.
First of all my prayers for your mother to get well soon, then my congraulations on preparing and spreading your blog.
I am an author living in Stockholm, Sweden.
In my book "SMALL MIRACLES" ISBN 1598001000 (Outskirts Press),
I related the true stories of thirty very stunning small and big miracles in my life in many countries, including three in Boston.
I sent the book to H.H. The Pope
Benedictus XVI and it was well received.
Its review appeared on many TV shows and in many papers. Have a look at www.thesop.org under my name (or religion).
