I spent the evening restoring an old white elephant. When I first bought it 15 years ago, it was a beautiful white colour. After leaving it on the porch for so long, and being exposed to the elements, its coat of paint has chipped off in many areas.
Using sandpaper, I sand down the flaky surface until smooth, thinking perhaps I could repaint and restore it to its former glory.
After a good wipe down, it looks handsome with the woody patches. I'm sure it'll be happy to be in the patio garden, scars and all.
