Counting sheep

Oh, high tea with the ladies was so fun, I'm still feeling high hours later. It must be something to do with the pot of vanilla tea and cup of cappuccino that I drank. I'm loaded with so much caffeine, I'll be counting sheep tonight.

Argh, I can't visualise sheep. I'll count Rustys instead.

The spread at Goodwood Park's L'espresso Cafe is pretty impressive. There were plenty of dainty nibblers like baby croissants (filled with shrimp and mango or salami and cheese) and open-face sandwiches topped with foie gras, smoked salmon and caviar, tuna sandwiches, scones, ravioli, crepe rolls, cheese platter, bread and butter pudding, creme brulee, lots of cakes and tarts. I was too stuffed to venture to the chocolate fountain and ice cream section.

We had loads of catching up to do, I wished we had all day instead of merely 2.5 hours. Of course it helps that we read each other's blogs daily. All too soon, we all had to go our separate ways. Still, I am grateful for the afternoon together.

Thanks Ladies. It is moments like this that I will treasure forever.
