Poor YK is sick today. He went to bed with a throbbing headache and woke up early this morning with a sore throat, high fever and a bad headache. As he is allergic to paracetamol, I gave him some painkillers prescribed by the family doctor. Even then, his eyes puffed up soon after. After taking some anti-histamine, the swelling gradually abated.
He insisted on going to school for his chemistry paper today. I hope he doesn't pass out during the exam as he went to bed without dinner last night and refused to eat anything this morning.

He slept in the car on the way home and has been sleeping ever since he got home.I'm sure he'll feel better when he wakes up.
He loves chemistry but said he couldn't think properly during the exams and could have messed up some of the questions.
I wish him a speedy recovery.
oh no! i feel bad, but like janice says..what a responsible boy! it's unfair that they will judge him on his answers...especially when he wasn't in his best form during the test.....
When he was sleeping, I felt his head. It was burning hot. So I woke him up to drink some barley.
The first thing he said when he woke up was "Which country am I in?"
I went "Huh? What do you mean? You're in Singapore!"
And I thought, "Oh no, his brain is damaged..."
After eating some food, he seems better now. Phew!

sounds like a trooper.. NO kid in the US would go to school unless forced by their parents under those conditions.. but not many parents would force them.
anyhow-- i hope he did well on his work, and is doin much better.

Thanks everyone for your concern. He is indeed feeling better this morning. The throat is still very sore but at least the fever and headache are gone.

Yups, Miss Teo graduated from the same class as me. She is my long time buddy. Most of my buddies are teachers as we are all majors in Mathematics!

She is so tied up she doesn't even know I have a blog! YK is notorious? Haha, I remember her telling me when she first joined that school. It was the first day at school and she went to meet her class. When she introduced herself, the whole class did the wave like a team in a soccer match has scored a goal.
Umm... was YK in that class that she was talking about?
