Rusty is here!

I've nothing much to report on this Sunday morning except that it's my younger brother's birthday today. Here he is with his lovely daughters at the birthday celebration last night. Happy Birthday Linus!

After dinner at my parent's place, Rusty followed us to the car and jumped right in. This little guy obviously has oodles of love for us and never fails to try his luck. Feeling indulgent, I decided to bring him home and see how he fares this time.

He seemed very well adjusted last night and didn't follow me around anxiously like before. We couldn't help but lavish him with plenty of cuddles as he snuggled on the rug with us.

Here he is, at the front door, waiting for me to take him out. We just came back from our morning walk and he's resting in my bedroom. If he feels secure and not whiny, perhaps he can stay with us. We'll see....

He's our blue-eyed boy!

Oh look at those crystal blue eyes! Dogs are smart...they know if they want to stay..they have to adjust as well.... I'm praying that he'll get to stay with you! What a cutie!

Yes indeed. He has been so good today. He didn't whine at all even when I went out for several hours. He must have gotten it all thought out the weeks we were apart :-)

Are you going to take him to the office?

MH - YK doesn't have to go to school anymore except on days when he has exam papers, so Rusty can stay home with company. Not sure how he's going to behave though now that he is all alone with YK.
