We're back from our shopping trip. YK wanted a Sony VAIO. Sony Laptops pricing is controlled by Sony, which means you pay the same price in every dealer's store. The difference lies in the freebies.

Harvey Norman has a great promotion going on. The laptop is bundled with 1GB RAM upgrade, a Sony VAIO mouse and notebook bag. But we wouldn't know if it's the best deal until we check what other stores are offering, would we?

We walked to Challenger, South Asia Computer and a couple of other shops and ended up at Harvey Norman again. They win hands down. The VAIO VGN-CR35G/L costs S$1999 (US$1472) which is a pretty decent price for these specs: Intel Core2 Duo T8100 Processor 2.1 GHz, RAM: 2GB DDR2 +1GB upgrade, Hard Disk: 200GB SATA @ 5400RPM

It is available in many attractive colours from metallic pink and champagne to racy red and matt black, it took us a while to decide on the blue one. Now YK's busy downloading MSN, iTunes and other stuff.

I was also wondering what Rusty was doing there. Someone held him up or he jumped? The new laptop looks really cool! Has YK finished all the downloading?
Water - YK was playing with Rusty when I was taking the photo. YK said "Shoot Rusty", so I asked him to hold Rusty up so that he's reflected in the shiny cover.
Water - Yah, he completed downloading everything already. He loves the laptop so much!

I like them a lot. I have seen a pink one here which I really want to get...oh, but in future :)
The pink one is very nice and we liked it alot but it's a girly colour.Maybe when my laptop conks out, I'll get the pink one.
