First meal

The best thing about being officially moved in means that I can cook! Here's the kids' first meal - their favourite pasta dish. I also cooked some pork chop for Rusty who's staying here for the week.

Step 1: Bring some water to boil, then add pasta, salt and olive oil.

Step 2: Prepare ingredients.

Step 3: Brown some chopped garlic and chilli in olive oil.

Step 4: Put in shitake mushrooms and stir fry until they sweat.

Step 5: Add in squid and prawns.

Step 6: Add in chopped tomato.

Step 7: Stir in cooked pasta.
Step 8: Serve.

Here's Rusty after his shower and meaty meal.

Scratching in the dining room.

Scratching in the living room.

We put up some wire mesh around the patio to prevent Rusty from falling over.

Ah, there he is! Sunbathing in the patio.

JY - Yah, with the chicken wire, we don't have to worry where Rusty goes. We haven't completed installing all yet. We ran out of wire!

Water - I think so but he still feels insecure and prefers if someone is out there with him.

MH - yes, Yay! It makes such a difference. I like cooking at home instead of always wondering what to tapau home.

I bet it feels great to be cooking in your own kitchen! Looks yummy, apart from the prawns. I have a prawn phobia!
