Australia's national parks and zoos are fascinating places to visit. Driving along the roads, we were often greeted by wild kangaroos. In the national parks, we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, wombats and Tasmanian devils. It's a great place for animal lovers like us, we love the land Down-Under!
Koalas are really sleepy animals! Cuddling a baby goat that looks like Rusty.
It's a cute wombat!
Hey there Hoppy! Getting friendly with a kangaroo. Australia has some of the nicest aquariums. This Tasmanian Devil kept running round and round the tree, it made us dizzy. You can find some amazing trees in Australia too, like the Bottle Tree here.A skink.
The lizards are so well camouflaged! Can you spot them?
Not sure what these really cute things are called.
Nice frogs.Wallabies, including an albino.Koala chewing on eucalyptus leaves.
Oh, lamb! The only lamb we see in Singapore are served on a plate.

blur one of my colleagues went to Aussie..we asked him to bring us back a wombat... he didn't... oh well..
Hehe, I would love to smuggle one tiny one back too. They're way too cute!
I have always wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand - now I have yet another reason to get there!
You'll like it there Holly. It's going to be a long way there for you though. It takes us only hours, that's why it's our fav holiday destination. You won't be disappointed.
i did spot the lizzard.. well , i saw one..didn't look for more..on that one shot.
i heard a kangaroo can kill a person with their claws..is that true? or am i just stupid?
LOVE the wombat !! i wanna hold one!
great pics..love them all!
how do you do sooo much traveling?
must be great!
Hey Soul, well done! there's one lizard in the middle and another at the tip of the branch.
Yah, wombats are soft and cuddly. For kangaroos, I have read that a defensive tactic is catching an attacking dog with the forepaws and disembowelling it with the hind legs.
Oh, you'll love Australia cos fishing is a huge sport there!
I travel several times a year, sometimes with the kids and other times with my friends or alone on business.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate your
efforts and I will be waiting for your next write ups thank you once
again.
