It's a Friday morning and I am talking about food already. While I was so engrossed thinking about all the delicious food I had eaten during my travels, I sent a quotation to my customer "The prices are very NICE now..." instead of the prices are very 'HIGH' now. He must be thinking,"Yah, nice for you maybe!"
Anyway, back to my favourite topic. I remember some of the best food I had eaten were also the simplest fare. The paper thin pizzas in Florence were simply too memorable even though they were sparingly garnished with a slab of cured meat on top of a light tomato base. The bruschettas and a chewy naan-like bread served at an old wine bar were simply irresistable. I could survive on that for the rest of my life. Oh, with gelatos for dessert of course. Make that gelato and a shot of espresso!
The cups of hot fruity wine I drank at the festive market in Budapest were also quite unforgettable. The sensation of my tummy warming up on a cold wintry night...ah, that was a nice fuzzy feeling. I still dream about the beer and pork knuckles in the old Munich tavern, fish and chips in London and Cold Stones ice cream in California. While I have no pictures of my older trips, here are some of my favourite recent ones...
The desserts in Provence were really works of art. They must be savoured slowly like the way I did here.
The smell of croissant and freshly baked bread made waking up in the mornings so joyful. I simply loved to spread the bread with the local provencal honey.
Some of my favourite food can be found in the markets of Paris. The roasted chicken and fresh peaches...oh, I could fly there just to eat those again!
Having a bowl of steaming noodles in the food market in Seoul is so good on a cold day!
I really like Korean food. They have so many little dishes, I could try a little bit of everything.
Ginseng chicken soup is a must-try in Korea. Simply the best!
You get the freshest food in Australia. I love the seafood in Melbourne and Brisbane, but in Darwin, the Asian street food are so tempting.
In Perth, we really enjoyed the picnics in the great outdoors.
The mussels in Belgium are the best, especially when eaten with fries.

You have made me hungry already :) Loved the Provence dessert pictures :) well, I liked them all.
Have a great day,
Janice,I always forget to take photos of food. By the time I remember, the dish looks too unattractive already.
I noticed that in Thai restaurants, they like to make the rice into shapes. The teddy bear shape one is even cuter!
Yah Wen. Food pictures always make me hungry. They bring back lots of good memories too.
