I'm up to date with the housework again. In fact, we even had time to visit the mall this afternoon. I try to avoid shopping during the weekend but I promised SK we'll go get some new shirts.
There were lines everywhere, starting from the carpark to getting a place at the Japanese restaurant. It makes me wonder about the recession. While paying for 2 shirts at Giordano, it started pouring outside and people began streaming into the shop to buy the $8 umbrella.
It became a drizzle when we got home. It started raining cats and dogs again when it was almost time to leave the house for dinner at my parent's place. I decided to stay home instead of making our way there. It would probably take us an hour to drive there in the wet weather.
I fried some rice noodles and made sweet potato soup for dessert. Soon, the house was infused with the smell of fragrant pandan leaves. The hot and sweet soup never fails to make me feel nice and warm on a cold night.

I've been craving for sweet potatoes for a long time...I forgot about this when I was in Indo. I SHOULD have eaten some while I was there. Now I want to go back to Indo just to eat them HA HA HA HA...
yah Amel, that would be perfect for your cold wintry weather! Aiya, I wish I could send you some!
He he he he...well, next time I visit Singapore again, I can have some with you! :-D
I can imagine the pleasant aroma. Glad it's stopped raining.
I hope Rustys toilet habits have improved!
