We decided to take a chance at Bam Booze. Luckily, they serve cider but only one kind called Henry Westons Vintage which turned out to be a very nice surprise. It's a very lovely, strong cider that's full bodied and very fruity in flavour.
Served iced-cold, it was a perfect refreshment after a spicy meal (coconut rice with fried anchovies, chicken wing, egg, otah and hot spicy sambal). I must have drank too quickly because I got light-headed soon after. I love ciders but I don't remember ever getting drunk on cider before but this one is 8.2%, so that explains.
My colleague and I have been moving furniture around in the office to improve our fengshui. Two ladies shifting and dragging workstation and cabinets across the room is no joke. I need a refreshing cider right now, with plenty of ice please!
