It's nice to wake up to a nice cool morning. The morning sun was casting a golden glow on the trees while I was having my breakfast at West Coast Park. What a contrast from yesterday's weather!
Traffic slowed down to a crawl while I was on my way to a meeting yesterday afternoon. The intense downpour led to flooding along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
It is on incidents like this that I'm glad my car is an SUV. One saloon couldn't make it, and was stranded in knee deep water.
I cancelled the appointment and made my way home instead. The drive home was rather stressful due to the heavy downpour and poor visibility.
Luckily the rain cleared up in the evening. I was able to bring Rusty for his walk before rushing for my swimming lessons.
I hope the weather stays fine all day. Today's the final day for the political candidates to hold their rallies. Despite the wet weather, thousands turned up at the rallies last night. It's a good sign. We're voting on Saturday. I'm so tempted to attend one tonight but the distance and the crowd is holding me back.

We are having a lot of rain too here in Malaysia! Terrible jam which make me sick of driving...;(

Ohhhh...it's nice to have cool weather once in a while, eh? It's always nice to have a dependable car even when it's pouring rain. :-D
