Another Indian kurta

I went shopping yesterday afternoon with the intention of buying some decent office attire. It is no surprise that I ended up buying an Indian kurta to add to my collection. It's in green too. Well, it is not exactly most appropriate for the office but who cares. It's kinda wrinkly because I had just washed it.

I simply love the embroidery. The light cotton makes it really comfortable for hot and humid days too.

The embroidered sleeve trimming is so pretty.

It's also nice at the back. Come to think of it, it looks like my pillow case.

I'm in the kurta phase lately. This is what I'm wearing today - a white cotton kurta with blue embroidery. I like floral motifs of any kind. Even my bedroom wall has stenciled flowers.

Here is another of my old favourites.

I got it from the F.O.S a couple of years ago. It's probably an American brand. I don't think you can find it anymore. I must have paid less than $30 for it. Good buy!

The white/yellow one was from a little boutique in Serangoon Gardens next to Mr Bean and NTUC. Not sure if it is still there.

The new one is from Lim's Arts at Holland Village. They don't have a big selection though.

You can try the boutique that I bought my glittery top from recently. I remember seeing a couple of pieces there. I forgot the name but it is about 2 doors away from Style Mart (149 Selegie Road). Quite near the bus stop where Fragrance Hotel is. It's on the 2nd floor. Hope you can find it.
