To keep the momentum going, I decided to run up the steep hill but soon my heart was pounding so hard, I thought I was going to get a heart attack. I slowed down and walked to the summit alongside the many weekend climbers. There were a few serious ones with heavy backpacks who must be training for a mountain climbing expedition. Looking at them was enough to make my legs weak.
The descent was much easier, so I jogged down slowly on the damp trail until I saw the warning sign "DO NOT RUN" at the steepest part. Yah, I wouldn't want to come tumbling down the hill like Jill!
Still feeling energetic, I went to Bt Batok Hill nearby, walked up and down the slippery trail before dashing to the only vending machine in sight. I was parched and desperately in need of an ice cold drink but alas, it wouldn't accept my coins. I settled for water from the cooler and then walked back to my car, just in time to see SK coming out from his tutor's house.
Here are some photos taken by CH during our walk yesterday. His camera takes much better photos than mine.We saw a group of colourful parakeets.

Thanks for the lesson and demonstration on the fastidious housekeeping habits of the tent spider. It was quite fascinating!

CH - As you can see, spiders like to keep their web clean.
JY - Yah, it's hard to start again after a long break.
