Though I had my seven hours of sleep, I dreamt about alot of things all night right till my alarm clock rang this morning. I can't remember any of them but I woke up feeling groggy and tired. Now I'm nodding off at my desk at 10am in the morning!
I guess that's what they mean when they say it's important to have quality sleep. Last night's sleep was probably of inferior quality. I was too busy dreaming.

I've read somewhere that although it may seem like you've been dreaming all night, it could actually just be the last 15-20 minutes before you wake. Something about the mind losing the sense of time when it's in a dream state.
It could be that you also went to bed with a lot on your mind.
I find that tea is good for these kinda mornings - the caffeine hit is gradual and lasts longer.
Thanks Mooiness. You're probably right about the few seconds of dreaming but it felt like forever!
I feel more awake now after my second cup of coffee. Tea tends to make my jittery and my teeth will be chattering all morning. Maybe then i won't be able to doze off! :-)
hhmm... did you dream about ORegon and ME? hehe :)
MH - not last night! That wouldn't make me groggy! And I would remember the dream. Last night's was all over the place, messy kind.
