Good day

Just when I was starting to doze off in bed after indulging in the sinful cake, SK called out, "Remind me to bring XX to school tomorrow morning ok?"

I nodded sleepily and went back to sleep. Then YK came and sprawled on my bed, saying something else which I have forgotten by now. I'm quite used to having my sleep interrupted like this. It's part and parcel of being a mum.

When I was sound asleep at 11pm, my phone rang loudly, jolting me from my slumber. It was a customer who bought some containers earlier during the day. He was complaining about not being able to get the containers out of the yard and so forth. Give me a break! What was I supposed to do at 11pm? Well, he kept going on and on. I told him in my very sleepy voice that I'll see to it in the morning. The disgrunted customer hung up unhappily.

As it turns out, there is nothing to worry about at all. It has already been taken care of by my colleague yesterday evening. I wonder what was wrong with him!

It's going to be a busy day. I have some customers arriving from Indonesia to see containers at the yard. Later in the afternoon, I will be meeting a supplier who arrived from South Korea. On some days, I could be so free that you'll find me swatting mosquitoes but not today.

It's all good. Being busy is a good sign.

Customers call you at 11pm? I'd have given them a piece of my mind! But I've had calls that late too myself ...

Yeah which is why I NEVER give out my number to customers, especially overseas customers. Nothing you can do at 3 AM.....! Good that you are busy...variety is good.

Yep, it's good to be busy when business is doing well.
