Icing on the cake

When I embarked on my blogging journey, I had never in my wildest dream expected a reader to send me birthday greetings, let alone a birthday cake!
.
Yes, a new blog reader was touched by my funny stories, she sent me a wonderful birthday surprise today. Well, it isn't quite a surprise anymore because I had to supply her with an address before the weekend. Being the Blur Ting that I am, I gave her a wrong address but still, the cake arrived at my office today.
.
It's from our favourite cake shop! She must have read about it from my posts. We're going to enjoy it tonight after our dinner at home with the kids and CH.
.
Thanks Huier, from the bottom of my heart! You really make my birthday a great one!

Nick - Will try to remember to take pics before eating. Too often, we go "oops" when we realise we had eaten up everything before taking photos!
