Wednesday

After weeks of dreams, nightmares and interrupted sleep, I finally had a good night's sleep. Maybe I should blog about my dreams more often, it helps to chase the nightmares away. Perhaps it was the simple home cooked dinner we had, or the groundnuts I snacked on. Or it could be the stuff (sports/health magazine) I was reading before bedtime. I laid down in bed and was about to start meditating when I fell asleep.

I woke up to a glorious morning. YK has no school today and SK starts late on Wednesdays. I had the opportunity to fix proper breakfast, throw the clothes into the washer and leave some instructions for YK (put the washed clothes into the dryer etc) before heading out of the house.

Today is also visiting day! I'm sending mum to her doctor's appointment this afternoon, so I'll get to see Rusty and my nieces anyway. I just hope Rusty doesn't insist on following me back home this time as nobody's home to take care of him on a weekday.

It's amazing what a restful night of sleep can do to the body and soul.

CH's so lucky. He saw these wild parakeets outside his balcony in the morning! I hope your Wednesday's looking good too.

Reading about exercise makes me sleepy too :-)

The parakeets aren't so much 'wild' as 'freed' I think. Most likely escaped or released pets. They seem to be thriving in our area though.

Sports magazine? Hold on a minute, are there any good looking half naked men posing in the magazine?

If yes, I would probably stay up whole night just to look at them! haha :)

MH - I wish! I would stay up too but I was reading Men's Health, not Sports Illustrated!

I'm glad to read that you had a good nights sleep but I think your dreams must have come my way cos last night I had dreams that involved coffins, mad people and machetes ... And everything I woke up from a particular dream, I would be in a state of fright ...

Hope your Mom's condition is okay. :-)))

And yes, a good night's sleep is really refreshing. ;-D

And it's always nice not to have to hurry in the mornings.

Nick - Oh dear.I am sorry you had a nightmare. Sounds frightening! Try reading health magazine or eating peanuts before bedtime :-)

Amel - Thanks. Mum's ok. I mean she's not that ok but the condition hasn't deteriorated.

Yup, I do love a good night's sleep followed by a slow morning :-)
