X'mas X'mas Little Stars

Ding Dong! Look what our landlord brought us? A beautiful cake from The Patissier!
Aptly named "X'mas X'mas Little Stars", it has sponge sandwiches filled with passionfruit mousse and lovingly decorated with juicy raspberries and crunchy chocolate stars, on a fragrant gingerbread base.
Oh, so lovely. I can't wait to share it with everyone. (and then go running of course!)

Nice cake :D Well, good thing you can run it off, ya? That's what I always say to justify my eating ... LOL!

Could I have a piece of your cake please?! It looks and sounds perfect!

I'll have to go to the gym afterwards though, or join you for a run.

Hey pals, guess what? I ate some of that cake and I DIDN'T go running cos I came home late.

The good news is, the cake is very light and spongy. (read as: not very sinful and fattening) The passion-fruit mousse is tangy and sweet. Really goes very well with the sugar-powdered sponge and sour raspberries.

Only trouble is, this beautiful cake is getting soggy. So, gotta finish it by tomorrow. Help!
