k@Ye wanted to know what my Punjabi suit looks like so she can offer suggestions on how to make me look less mumsy. Well, here it is...
The colour is rather muted, so I have a hard time capturing a good image. The suit comes with a shawl and loose pants.

To be honest, I had bought the suit because I was attracted to the pretty graphics on the shawl.

Okie, u can take the color of this suit since u re fair.
1. Must ditch the shawl, if not u can sew beads on the shawl to make it BLING and the design to stand out. Or find another BRIGHT color shawl!
2. Is the pants shimmery? Pair it up with a pair of shimmery pants. And if the pants are those too loose type, change to more fitting ones!
3. Also, find a SHINY belt to match... the belt will give u a shape instead of looking mumsy.
4. Find a pair of BLING BLING heels...
5. I try to find pix of what i mentioned & pasted it on my blog for u to see...

Kaye - You're so nice to come up with so many suggestions. I don't feel so mumsy now. To be honest, I haven't worn the whole suit in entirety, so I should try it once again to see how it looks. Otherwise, I will take your advise and make so changes.
JY- Yah, the colour is not so loud which is what I like. I'll probably just wear it and forget about getting another one. Must save money!
I think it's a pretty colour and a very elegant looking outfit.
