My little niece

My little niece attends playschool every morning. For 3 hours, she'll sing, dance, draw and play... well, just having fun! The school had a National Day party today and I offered to bring her home after that.

I arrived to see all the little kids togged in red and white (our national colours) lining up, waiting for dismissal. As they streamed out of the door, I strained my neck, looking out for my niece. Finally, a teacher led her out, holding her tiny hand. Oh, at 30 months, she's the baby of the school, compared to the older kids in nursery and kindergarten classes.

As I walked her towards the gate, the school bus aunty came, cuddled her and gave her a goodbye kiss.

The drive home was fun. "Look! A crocodile!" I said, pointing to a logo on a truck. Soon we were pointing out other interesting things. When we were approaching home, she said "I don't want mei mei!". Well, at this age, she's basking in all this attention and isn't quite ready to welcome her 3-month old sister into her world yet. Oh, what do you expect? She's still a baby too!
All strapped up, ready to go home!
Hungry girl gets fed right away!
Yummy! I love noodles!
