All flattened out

Today's post will show you what an airhead I am. It's all about my hair. I went for a trim at the salon yesterday and seeing how free the hairdressers were (which was an unusual sight), I had to open my big mouth and ask about rebonding.

The next thing I knew, the hairdresser was spreading cream on my hair. Too late, the process had started and there was no turning back. I sat there for 4 whole hours - reading every magazine within my reach, fidgeting under the steamer, getting my hair ironed out, creamed and rinsed a couple of times.

I kept asking "Are we done yet?" until I got on her nerves. In between treatments, YK was calling about the lunch I promised to buy back 3 hours ago.

After all that work, I left the salon with rod-straight, silky and shiny hair. The hairdresser reminded me not to tie or tuck my hair behind my ears for a day.

"You're not going running after this are you?" she asked.

Well, I guess not. I was there during lunch time and by then, it was time to hurry home to cook dinner. She heaved a sigh of relief. All her hard work would be ruined if I had bundled up my hair.

The kids love how shiny my new hair is but they're not quite sure they like my face now. I said I don't really care as long as I don't have to deal with kinky and disobedient hair anymore. This morning, I woke up to find every strand perfectly in place instead of the usual bedhead but it's disturbing to find that half the volume is gone. It's so flat, I look weird and chubby. I need more hair to make my face look smaller. It's going to take a while before I look normal again.

Maybe I do care about how I look afterall. Help!

I bet it looks great too. Silky and shiny and healthy. Sometimes things just take a little getting used to. Pictures?

Oh my God! I have just done something similar last week!! I straightened my hair and was sitting down for over four hours! But the volume is gone, the hair is sily and straight :) I like it better like this, it is easy to handle!

I did rebonding once. A big test of patience for me really. Since the chopping off of my long bangs, there's no turning back. Short hair for me. Hussle-free. Low maintenance. Easy to dry and care. Save Shampoo also leh :-)

So you must be super ready for this Sunday?
