Shape Run

I joined 8,000 women on a Sunday morning run at Esplanade today. I completed the 10km run with improved timing, thanks to my training which started a month ago. Good old CH turned up to be our photographer and cheerleader.

The event has become highly popular. When I participated in its inauguration race two years ago, there weren't so many runners. The entire area was teeming with enthusiastic women donning the bright green event tee since 6am. I was looking forward to meeting Water Learner but simply couldn't find her in the sea of people. I had to leave soon after the run to bring SK for Chinese tuition.

CH and I had a hearty bowl of noodles after the run.

All the way. Too bad we did not manage to meet. So packed and crowded.I tried looking for you before and after the race but could not find you.

Congrats on your good timing! In Nike Human Race .. hope we can take a pic together ya? ...

**Shrugs ** By the size of Nike Race, I very much doubt. But anyhow, we will be running together in our minds :-)

That bowl of noodle is well deserved! You really do make all this marathon running seemed easy, what with squeezing that in between looking after the kids and the business.

Congratulations on your good run, to both you and waterlearner :D With the condition of my knee I don't even know when I can run competitively again ...

Well done with improving your timing!
What a shame Waterlearner and yourself were unable to find each other.
Noodles looked yummy, and much needed I expect.

Karen told me she was going for the run with you. I thought you gals are meeting up together. I see that eventually you still did not get to meet her. I agree with Karen that anyway, you gals are "running together in your minds"

Cheers to you for a better performance this time round :)

You look great in your sports gear !! :)

Water - Yah, we must take a picture together! Target- next race, must look out for you. Will mobilise CH to help look too!

Mooiness - It's easier now that the kids are older and more independent. I doubt I can juggle so many things if they were much younger.

Nick - You've got to get that knee treated. I do hope to see you running again!

JY - Yah, yummy. Anything that's served before me will taste yummy after a good run :-)

World -I thought we would surely meet because we knew what we were each wearing. Still, it's a big area with more than 8,000 people...
